Story Overview

While playing at the beach, you, Pun-hmorg, and Zona suddenly spots an old glass bottle with torn parchment inside. Upon piecing together the scattered paper, you discover that is it is an old treasure map! After gathering some supplies and fixing up an old wooden raft, the three of you sailed out to the island marked on the map. The way to the island isn't as simple as you had thought, but you did it! You braved a violent storm and navigated through a tree maze, but in the end, you and your friends finally reached the island. You eagerly dig up your long awaited treasure only to find--another glass bottle with parchment inside? Opening it, you find a mysterious message in a language you've never seen before.

You decoded the message, realizing that the key to the treasure chest lies along a path that leads to the island's right eye. After meeting with a wise old turtle constellation, you and your friends followed his advice and ate the special seaweed that lets you breathe underwater. Finally ready for the descent into the icy waves, Zona guided you and Pun-hmorg down, down, down into the depths until you come across an underwater hole. You follow Zona deeper, catching a glimpse of a box glinting dully in the watery ground. An alarmed cry from Zona has you spinning around to see him surrounded by irritated fish. Panic fills you, you couldn't swim fast enough to help Zona! Suddenly, a grey white blur streaks past you with impossible speed. A stranger has appeared, and her quick reaction saved your little Phosray friend from getting slightly chewed up. You and your friends turn your attention to the helpful stranger. She looks like a Stelciar, but she has a long fish-like tail in place of her hind legs. She explained that she is a 'Merciar' and her kind are the guardians of the deep sea where the souls of the departed rest. With her help, the four of you got ahold of the box only to find that it has a puzzle to unlock it. Working together, you finally solved the puzzle and acquired the key. Your adventure is finally over! You celebrate with your friends, old and new, enjoying this precious moment together.
