Solacys face was contorted into a mask that no longer belonged to her. She was doing her best to keep her face neutral and comforting and not let anything slip through that could indicate how bad the injuries before her really were. She needed to put on a positive attitude, the last thing she needed was someone freaking out, moving too much and just making everything worse. It felt surreal to look at wounds and  hastily push gauze against them to stop bleeding when there was a real person attached to those injuries, to those bodies. She had fought all day long and was out of firepower, so right now all she could help with was treating the injured. She had fumbled around a bit before finding a strategy that worked. With her big fish tail it was pretty easy to grab onto injured Stelciar and then take a quick dip through an underwater tunnel where the monsters couldn't easily follow. The rescued stelciar did end up completely wet but for some that shock was enough to let adrenaline kick in and keep them fighting and awake. Inside the little cave operation where other Stelciar tending to wounded, they had set up heaters around the place and threw blankets at newcomers to warm them up again and keep them from getting too much of a shock from the water. Luckily the water wasn't too cold at the moment.

One of those rescued through the water tunnel was laying on a cot in front of Solacy and moaned while moving from side to side, clearly affected by the painfoul wound on their side. "I know it's hard but try to take slow breaths with me. Breathe in.... hold... breathe out. Breathe in... hold... breathe out. You are doing great! Keep focusing on that while I work on getting you fixed up."The gauze was soaking up the blood and Solacy put some more on top. She was ust doing the bare minimum to keep the wound protected and contained until the healer had time to come over here. Solacy cursed herself for not learning these skills herself. She just didn't think it would ever be really needed and had put her energy into other things... This war gave her a new perspective on things though. She kept speaking softly to the patients while looking towards the healer until their eyes met. She nodded towards her patients while keeping a calm and happy face. Panic was the last thing they needed. She held on until the healer joined her side, then she slowly lifted the gauze and watched as the Stelciar got an energy boost to speed up the healing process. There wasn't time to relax though, there were many more injured that needed help.
