The Star Monarch Festival bathed the night in glow of lights, as shimmering stars floated through the sky, accompanying all Stelciars and Phosrays throughout the ceremony.

Zona, not wanting to miss out this annual festival, stroll around through the vibrant stalls, clutching his pouch filled with precious Comet Shards. His bright purple eyes darted between the lively vendors, all offering unique trinkets and treats that made the festival feel like a dream.

His walk slowed down as he caught sight of something delicious—a  jar filled with glistening, colorful gummy bears displayed at a wooden stall. Behind it stood Picusso, managing the stall filled with other delicious treats.

Zona walked closer to her stall, his curiosity piqued, “Excuse me! How much are you looking for the gummy bears?” he asked.

Picusso looked down at him, her warm eyes filled with amusement, “Oh, these? They took quite a bit of effort to make so I’m selling them for three Comet Dusts or fifteen Comet Shards, if you have them!”

Zona’s face fell for a moment before he opened his pouch, revealing the Comet Shards he got, six of them, “I don’t have enough Comet Dusts, but I have these! Will this be enough?”

Picusso chuckled, shaking her head, “I appreciate the offer, but these gummies took me a long time to perfect, so I can’t lower the price too much.”

Determined, Zona beamed at her, “Then...I’ll find more Comet Shards! Please take care of the gummies! I’ll be back before you know it!”

With lots of energy, he walked away from the stall before he embarked on a quest to get more Comet Shards in the next day.

He first scoured the bushes near the festival grounds, rustling through the leaves until he found two glowing Comet Shards. Excitedly, he tucked them into his pouch.

From there, he ventured towards the towering trees, where two more shards gleamed among the branches. With the help of a Stelciar nearby, he managed to got up, grasping the shards with ease.

His search then took him to the beach. There, he discovered three more shards, half-buried in the warm sands. He dug it out and put it inside his pouch before taking a leave and found two more shards near a quiet lake.

Hours passed in his adventure and his pouch now carried a total of fourteen Comet Shards—one more from his goal.

Exhausted, Zona trudged along the field, searching for a quiet place to rest. As he wandered, a familiar voice called out to him,

“Zona! Perfect timing!”

Zona turned at the voice and spotted Pun Hmorg. He was standing beside a delicate Music Box.

“Could you watch my Music Box for a bit?” Pun asked, “I want to pick some flowers from the field, but I don’t want to leave this unattended.”

Zona nodded, “Of course! Just take your time.”

As he settled down, he stared at the ornate Music Box. A wave of boredom washed over him and after some hesitation, he spinned the small crank on its side. A soft melody poured out, filling the air with a soothing, enchanting tune.

Zona, caught in the rhythm, tapped his feet, swaying gently as he enjoy the tunes played.

Just as he lost himself in the melody, something struck his head with a small ‘thunk.’

“Ack! What was that?” He rubbed the sore spot on his head and looked down, eyes widening in surprise.

There, nestled in the grass, was a Comet Shard!

Zona gasped, his exhaustion is all forgotten, “No way! It’s my last one!” He quickly scooped it up, placing it in his pouch alongside with the other Comet Shards.

Not long after, Pun Hmorg returned with a bundle of fresh flowers. He tilted his head as he noticed Zona’s excited expression, “Something happened? You look extra lively.”

Zona beamed, and replied, "This Music Box of yours is a bringer of good luck, is all I can say!”

Pun blinked, then glanced at his Music Box skeptically. “Huh… really?” He spinned the crank himself, listening intently, but nothing unusual happened.

Shrugging, he returned his gaze to Zona. “Well, I suppose you've used all of it's luck," Pun chuckled, "Glad that it helps you though!"

Zona smiled, “Thanks, Pun! I gotta go—those gummy bears won’t buy themselves!”

With that, he runs off toward Picusso’s stall, his excitement barely contained.

When he arrived, he gleefully placed all fifteen Comet Shards on the counter. “I did it! I got them all!”

Picusso’s ears perked up in amusement. “Well, color me impressed, Zona!”

She then carefully collected the Comet Shards before handing him the jar of gummy bears, “Here you go! I hope the gummies worth of your hardwork!"

"Most certainly! Thank you so much, Picusso!" Zona accepted the jar with a sparkle in his eyes.

From there, Zona took his leave to a hill, where he settled onto a cozy patch of grass and watched the fireworks as he's savoring his well-earned treat.

It had been great adventure for the him—with patience, luck, and the sweetness of gummies as a well-earned reward!
